Waitoa Riparian Planting Day

Sleeves were rolled up and spades were put to good use as almost 100 volunteers planted 2,700 native trees near Fonterra's Waitoa manufacturing site in August thanks to Catchment Care. Catchment Care celebrates 40th Ramsar Convention in Taranaki

Nowell’s Lake in Hawera, South Taranaki, was the scene of a special tree planting on 20 April.
